Housing campaign

February's decision by Lib Dem council leader Terry Stacy to call in auditors Price Waterhouse Coopers to conduct an investigation into the handling of allegations against Partners for Islington was the latest development in a long-running campaign by Islington Conservatives.

Using volunteer legal help on behalf of local residents, Association members won a key case at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal in 2008.  

The picture shows Antonia at Islington Town Hall in 2009 with Jacqui Lait MP, who has campaigned extensively on behalf of London leaseholders, and leaseholder and tenant representative Dr Brian Potter. Jacqui came to tell Islington council leaseholders about her work in Parliament on these issues.
